The Initial Enquiry

So today is the day that I started making progress on my way back to University.  After giving it all some careful consideration we have decided that possibly looking into the Open University will be a good idea.  The main reason for this is because it gives us the opportunity to be able to study at our own pace, with deadlines, and also means that we will be able to spend time on our other areas of interest and our main project, Add Deal.

With this in mind, I decided that I would send the Open University an e-mail to find out how we go about getting everything set up to be able to start the process of registration and studying at the OU.  As of yet we are still waiting for a reply from the OU, however, we are sure that over the next couple of days we should have heard from them.

Last night I registered for an account on the OU website, so some progress has started.

We’re looking forward to the potential of going back to studying at University and also the fact that it gives us the ability to plan our studying around our other commitments, both business and personal.

Day 11-13 – The Couch Potato

Never mind about eating potatoes for dinner I think I must have turned into one over the past couple of days.  My exercising regime has really taken a battering this week as my focus has been on more important matters including a Company Return and also a Strike Off that I am currently going through with one of my old companies.

Over the next couple of days, however, I’m hoping to make up the difference with a couple of extra sessions being complete, either that or I work out for longer, so rather than doing the 30 minutes I normally do, I will spend an extra 30 minutes.

Hmm I shall leave this one up to me,  but yes there has been very little progress on my weight loss frontier, although all of my clothes are starting to get quite big around the waist, resulting in belts being purchased and possibly some new threads on the cards.

What do you reckon a pair of flip-flops and a hoodie??

The Decorations are down…

With the dawn of the New Year just a couple of days ago we would imagine a lot of you are now getting ready to head back to work or perhaps you’ve already gone back..  Well here at Add Deal we made the most of our final day off and we decided that today we would take down all of the decorations that were put up prior to Christmas.

So with the decorations now down we’re now ready to get started on a new year filled with lots of exciting new products, services and a whole host of other really amazing features.

We must admit we’re wondering where the time has gone, it doesn’t seem 5 minutes since we were putting the decorations up.  Christmas and New Year seem to go by quite rapidly and it certainly doesn’t feel like the start of a new year, although we’re still debating what a New Year feels like…

So the decorations are down, the new year has started and we’re officially back in the office tomorrow, 04/01/2011.
